what is the best brand to get when buying a plasma screen TV?

i've looked at everything, and clearly each brand varies from pixel to pixel, contrast ratio, etc. I don't want to buy based on well-known brands. Instead, I would rather get an opinion on what brand would be the best to buy, and why. I want something with a really clear image, and high pixels. Any suggestions?
