I’ve got a plasma and an lcd and I’d have to say the plasma has a way better picture but the lcd requires a lot less maintenance. A plasma can be pretty easy to mess up. So it just depends on what you want… better picture or easier to maintain? But they’ve both been pretty good.

Go with a Sony Lcd its has a little bit more clear image and it won’t glare like most plasma’s because they got shiny plastic over the screen. To get the best thou go with a dp dual projection tv its the most exspensive but has the best quality.

lcd is much better,plasmas need repairs at least every 2-3 years. And every tv that has hdmi or component ports supports blueray as long as you have a blue ray player

Plasma or LCD will show your Blu Ray just fine, just make sure that it is a 1080p model.
