Is it ok to play video games on a plasma screen TV or will it burn into the screen?

If I play video games on a plasma screen TV will it burn into the screen even if I remember to turn the TV off as soon as I get done playing the game. I thought if I shut it off as soon as I was done I wouldn't have any burn in. Let me know if there is any way that I can still play games and have the plasma TV too! Thanks!
