You really need a minimum of 2000 lumens for daylight watching, even then, it's not perfect. i know , thats the brightness of my pj. Most of the 1080p pj's are about 1500lumens unless you really start paying the big bucks :-) keep searching, it's the research that pay dividends :-) Use the projector finder at projector central. i have posted a link.
