Try and see if there is another video adaptor program in the computer for this. It should have already had the software for the blu ray disc technology so either your computer is faulty, or there is another program on your computer that will (should) allow you to play the Blu ray discs. Call or contact acer as well, or take it back to where you got it and ask a salesperson to show you...that is unless you bought it at walmart...they don't know anything.

•Ok,u need a DVD Ripper.
Hereby I recommend u use Pavtube DVD Ripper. It is a very powerful tool. Most of my friends are using this software. It is very fast to convert and easy to use. It has mutiple functions. It can convert DVD movies to AVI, WMV, MPG, MP4, MOV, and 3GP, AAC, MP3, W4A, WMA, WAV and AC3 etc. In addition, it can convert DVD to iPod, iPhone, Zune, Creative Zen, iRiver, PSP, Xbox360, Pocket PC and Apple TV etc.

If you search hard enough, you'll find a program that will actually playback the software.
