Hi! I was wondering if iPhone GPS would get a large group of people through the desert?

I am using my I-phone to ask this question… we are currently trying to find a way to navigate past a large red coloured streach of water, and my talking donkey sugested I use the GPS on the i-phone to find an alternative route.
Is this possible, or is the speaking donkey but a further warning against being misled through avarice to violate God’s command? and which buttons do I press?
