buzzing sound from surround sound home theater?

i just bought a panasonic sc-pt960 5.1 system. there is a constant faint buzzing sound coming from the main front 3 speakers. will better optical hdmi cables fix this? anyone have any suggestions? or is this a setting i need to change?
