Anyone have any ideas on how to get sticky gum off a plasma tv screen?

My son smeared his gum all over the screen of our plasma tv. So far I've tried putting ice in a bag and applying it to the gum. I'm able to get off big pieces, but the rest just kinda smears into the screen. Any helpful ideas would be appreciated.
